Past Continuous Tense

Past Continuous Tense
It was happening. it is key the sentence.
Paat Continuous Tense is used to show the
actions that were happening in the past.
When actions were on before some time or one minute too.To tell about that this tense is used.
We use was/were before ing form of main verb.
read - was/were reading,
play - was were playing,
come - was/were coming
 I,He,She,It,Dadu,Sima,Bus = was, We,You,They,Boys,Cats = were
 1 st form of main verb eat + ing = eating
was/were eating
I was eating an apple.
We were eating apples.
You were eating an apple.   
 It (Caw)was eating grass.
They were eating bananas. 
 The bus was coming.
Sima was cooking.             
 Dadu was telling a story.
Boys were jumping.               
Cats were drinking milk.
Negative Sentences :
was/were + not + eating.
was not = wasn't, were not = weren't
I was not eating an apple.
We were not eating apples.
You weren't eating an apple.
It (Caw)was not eating grass.
They were not eating bananas.
The bus wasn't coming.
Remember : It shows action was not working.
Question :
To make question was/were is used in starting of the sentence.
Was I,He/She/It..?,
Were We/You,They...? in this way.
               Positive Verbal Questions
Wa I going ? Were we playing?
Was he telling? Were they sleeping?
              Negetive Verbal Questions
Weren't they going?Wasn't he telling?
Weren't you feeling better?
Responses : Yes,I was / No,I wasn't.
Wh Questions :
What was I doing ?
Who wasn't going?         
How much money were you spending?
Why wasn't he writing?
Some Sentences :
I am swimming in the river.
Are you helping me?
Who is watching TV?Raju is watching TV.
He is dancing.Who is'nt reading?
I am getting late.Are you getting late?
We are brushing our teeth.
I am taking a bath. He is studying.

 मित्रांनो, आज आपण शिकू या. Simple Past Tense म्हणजे च साधा भूतकाळ चला तर करू या सुरुवात. It happened. ( ते घडलं.) भूतकाळात घडलेली घटना व्यक्त करण्यासाठी वापर.ती घटना  अगदी एका मिनिटापूर्वीही घडलेली आहे.मराठीत क्रियापदाच्या शेवटी शक्यतो ल,ले,लो,ल्लं अशी अक्षरे येतात. उदा.खाल्ले,खाल्लं.उठलो,बसलो,आलो, होते,होता, होतं. लक्षात ठेवा साध्या भूतकाळात नेहमीच मुख्य क्रियापदाचे 2 रूप वापरले जाते.       या रूपाचा English मध्ये इतर कुठेही वापर केला जात नाही. उदा. eat(1) - खाणे (2)ate - खाल्ले  I,We,You,They,He,She,It = मुक्रिचे 2 रे रुप जसेच्या तसे. eat(1)-खाणे चे 2 रे रूप ate (खाल्ले) = येथे अर्थ खाल्ले.
